The Hochrain location is located north of Engelmannsbrunn and looks from a southern slope directly to the neighbouring town. The types of terrain here are very different. It is the predominant loess and the black soil, which are partially crossed by some sand. An ideal starting position for the lighter Veltliner.
The Riede Frauengrund is one of the largest and most famous vineyards in the south of Kremstal. The loess soils are predominant and offer the best conditions for the Green Veltliner variety. This wine is very varietal and comes exclusively from the oldest vineyards of this vineyard.
The Marienberg location is located on a south-facing slope, near the village Ottenthal. The good sun here also allows a high degree of maturity for red wines. The land consists of black earth and loess. This location is called Marienberg due to a statue of the Virgin Mary on the top of the slope.
The nose has a very fine and spicy smell, characterized by an intense aroma of blackberry and licoricey; On the palate it is very powerful, complex, juicy and dense with silky tannins.
The Halterberg location is located near the village Ottenthal. The slope goes down to the south. The land consists of loess and black earth. This position is called Halterberg, because first on this slope "Halter" guarded the vineyards from the theft of grapes.
